Shamrock Foundation Online Volunteer Application
Volunteers are essential to the success of Shamrock.
Please be a part
of solving the pet overpopulation problem!
Volunteering takes many forms:
- Sponsoring a kenneled dog by providing transportation to/from the local kennel so that he/she may attend an adoption day
- Staffing an event booth or fundraising activity (examples: Art for the Animals, Holiday Shoppe, Saint James Art Fair, Cat/Dog shows, etc.)
- Fostering a cat or dog (WE NEED FOSTERS MORE THAN ANY OTHER TYPE OF VOLUNTEER!!!)
- Assisting with the animals at adoption days (see our calendar for the schedules)
- Providing support for voicemail
- Mail Support
The jobs are endless and
unfortunately so is the abundance of unwanted pets. Every year we help hundreds of cats and dogs find new homes but it takes volunteers to make this a reality.
YOU can make a
difference in the life of one of these special animals.
Please email us at volunteer@shamrockpets.com or fill out the online form below and click the Submit button only if you are serious about volunteering. We receive hundreds of volunteer applications each year but very few of the people who submit an application ever become a volunteer. This puts a considerable administrative strain on our organization so please only contact us if you are serious about volunteering your time.
If you are interested in fostering a cat or dog please do not fill out a volunteer application. It would be more beneficial for you to come to an adoption day and meet the other volunteers and speak with an adoption coordinator about fostering one of our animals.
