Another Perfect Match
I moved to Louisville from California 2 years ago, and left my dog,
my cocker spaniel, "Poochini", with my mom. (He is really her dog
anyway.) I never realized how sad I would be without a dog. I moved
into an apartment alone and lately I had noticed that so many of my
neigbors had puppies and I was just aching for that
companionship...and, frankly, the responsibility.
I found Shamrock on a web search for adoption services in the area.
I was familiar with the concept of Shamrock as we had a similar
organization in California (Bay Area). I knew this was where I
wanted to get my dog.
Shamrock was very helpful in answering my questions and setting me up
to come to an adoption day. I actually kind of liked the idea of the
waiting period and the test-run w/ the adopted dog...but, when I
found my Baci (pronounced Bah-chee) the person who found him just
couldn''t keep him any longer...so he came home with me that night!
Life has been great. He''s so loveable and cute. I just love having
him in the apartment with me. I am able to take him with me when I
go to my dad''s, Baci''s "grandpa"...who just adores him. Baci is
exactly what I needed this year. He''s a perfect fit. Shamrock found
another perfect match! Thank you so much.
