The 16th Annual Art for the Animals benefit is an art-filled, jazzy event that brings Louisville’s best food, drink, and people to benefit the Shamrock Pet Foundation, Inc ("Shamrock"). Featuring a live and silent art auction, this annual event features artwork donated by local, regional, and national artists. We have representation by Louisville’s best-known artists year after year. Additionally, many of Louisville’s favorite restaurants donate food to the event that will delight your palate while deciding on which art to bid. Our donating artists attend the event creating a wonderfully diverse audience that is full of life. Also in attendance are adorable, adoptable animals awaiting their forever home. Shamrock, founded in 1992, is a local, non-profit organization comprised entirely of unpaid volunteers dedicated to ending pet overpopulation, reducing the number of companion animals destroyed in local shelters, and saving or enhancing the lives of animals in need. |
